TRAINING AND PLACEMENT

The purpose of the Training and Placement Cell is to assist students in choosing the correct career path and to provide information, skill, and aptitude in order to satisfy the industry's workforce requirements.


Motive of IEIIT

  •  Through individual counselling and group sessions, aid students in developing/clarifying their academic and career interests, as well as their goals.
  •  Updating and maintaining the student database on a regular basis. Maintaining a company database and forming strategic partnerships for college recruitment.
  •  Obtaining information about employment fairs and other related job adverts.
  •  Collaborating with businesses to learn about their needs and hiring methods.
  •  Identifying the needs and expectations of businesses in order to assist them in finding the best individuals.
  •  Organizing student pre-placement training/workshops/seminars.
  •  Organizing regular meetings with firms' Human Resources departments and TPOs to boost recruitment.
  •  Assisting students in obtaining industrial training at the end of the fourth and sixth semesters.
  •  To provide materials and activities to help people plan their careers.
  •  To serve as a link between students, alumni, and the workforce.
  •  Assisting students in securing positions in reputable companies.

Career Guidance

  •  Posting information about competitive and industrial career opportunities on departmental bulletin boards.
  •  Provide information to students about government employment openings and off-campus recruitment drives.
  •  Organizing motivational speeches.
  •  Performing a Psychometric Test
  •  Facilitating Workshops on Expectation Management.
  •  Organizing Personality Development Workshops
  •  Organizing skill-imbibing events

Training & Development

The training curriculum is designed to prepare students for entry-level Graduate Apprentice positions, taking into account industry requirements.

Placement

The industry is always on the lookout for students who are dynamic, active individuals who are willing to take on new challenges, are attentive, have a strong academic background, are quick learners who are willing to study even at work, and, most importantly, have excellent communication skills. This activity focuses on personality development in order to help pupils build trustworthiness, a positive attitude, and good decision-making skills.
